Our mission
Decisions about war, and about who represents us, belong to Congress and the American people. Not to lobbyists, and not to any foreign government.
Hold the Vote exists to counter organized efforts by foreign governments to shape what Americans see and believe on social media. Right now, the clearest example is the Israeli government and the groups that amplify its message. In 2024, Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs reportedly paid about $2 million for a covert campaign of fake “American” accounts aimed at members of Congress. Meta and OpenAI said they found and shut it down. The ministry denied it.
Our answer is simple: plain, sourced ads that put the facts in front of ordinary people, paid for by people instead of governments or lobbyists. We hold every country to the same standard. This is about governments and money, never about any people or faith.
What we do
- Design and run issue ads on social media about foreign influence and lobbying in U.S. politics.
- Publish the sources behind every claim we make.
- Never support or oppose a candidate or party.
- Deliver a free petition asking the House to vote on the war.
How we use the money
Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, keeps 5% + 50¢ per order. Of what remains, our target is 70% for ad placements, 10% for design and production, up to 15% for the operator’s pay, and 5% held for refunds. Advertising is how we choose to spend our revenue; it is not a service sold to buyers. These are targets, not guarantees, and may change as the campaign develops.

3. Use of proceeds; no guaranteed outcome
We intend to use proceeds as described above, including to purchase advertising. However, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product, not advertising services, and that your purchase does not entitle you to any particular ad, placement, audience, number of views, reporting, or result. Advertising depends on third-party platforms that may delay, restrict, reject or remove ads at their sole discretion. We make no representation or guarantee regarding the reach, effectiveness or outcome of any ad, petition or campaign, including any action or vote by Congress or any public official.
4. Changes to the campaign
We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, change, pause, reschedule or end any ad, petition, newsletter or part of the campaign, including its timing, platforms, issues and budget allocation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all products, content, ads, newsletters and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Content reflects publicly reported information and opinion as of its publication date and may become outdated.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Operator, or its contributors, contractors or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your purchase, the products, the campaign, or any failure, delay or inability to perform any part of it, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including platform policy changes, account suspensions, payment processor actions, government action, outages, illness or other emergencies.
9. Your use of materials
You may share and post the ad graphics and materials for non-commercial advocacy. You are responsible for how you use them, including compliance with the rules of any platform and applicable law. You may not resell them or alter them to make claims we did not make.
10. General
These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about your purchase. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
